Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the first respondent pertaining to its order bearing PSC/KFS/TECH/AM(T)/WC/2022-2023 /001 dated 10.11.2022 and to quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the first respondent to confirm the tender for supplying man power floated by the first respondent bearing PSC/KFS/TECH/AM(T)/WC/2022-23/001 in favour of the petitioner by disqualify the ineligible tenders quoted by the second respondent which is nil amount in as much as an agreement without consideration is invalid.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by the second respondent on 10.11.2022, accepting the quotation submitted by the second respondent for providing contract labour for Kanniyakumari Ferry Service, Kanniyakumari, for the period November 2022 to October 2023.

2.A perusal of the records reveals that the period covered under the tender has already expired. However, it is for the authorities to consider 2/4

whether the tender could be accepted at the rate of 0.0000000000000000001% while awarding the future contracts. 3.This Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
