Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pay the terminal benefits amount payable to the petitioner including difference in gratuity and difference in unavailed medical leave salary in terms of 12(3) settlement dated 13.02.1999, G.O(Nilai) No.220 dated 06.08.1999 Transport Department and also G.O.No.100 dated 09.04.2014, Finance (Pension) Department, together with 18% interest and all other attendant benefits to him with the stipulated period.

Mr.K.Sathiyasingh, the learned standing counsel for the respondent takes notice on behalf of the respondent. 2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner is a retired employee of the respondent corporation. He seeks payment of the difference in gratuity and leave salary together with interest.

4.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the difference amount payable to the petitioner would be paid with interest at the rate of 6% per annum. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is allowed. No costs.
