Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to survey and fix the boundaries of his land in S.No.94/5 and 2 cents in S.No.94/3 totally 6 cents, in patta No.A/8, Ward No.C, Block No.3, situated at Komathiyapuram Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, on the basis of the representation dated 19.08.2017.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.No.94/5 and 2 cents in S.No.94/3 totally 6 cents, and he is in possession and enjoyment of the said property. Subsequently, he made an application dated 19.08.2017, before the respondents for measuring the property and fixing the boundaries of the said land and also paid necessary fees. But, so far, no order has been passed on the application filed by the petitioner, hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Considering the fact that the application is filed on 19.08.2017, the respondents are directed to measure the property and fix the boundaries as per the records, after issuing notice to the petitioner, as well as rival claimants, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
