Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the first respondent vide his proceedings Nil dated Nil (generated in the official website of the first respondent) and quash the same as illegal and consequentially to direct the first respondent to issue hall ticket for the examination scheduled to be held on 11.03.2018, within the period that may be stipulated by this Hon`ble Court.

Mr.S.Chellapandian, the learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mrs.S.Srimathy, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2.
2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The first respondent issued a notification inviting applications from the eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Grade - II Police Constable and Grade II Jail Warder and Firemen for the year 2017-18. The petitioner applied in response thereto through online. However, hall ticket was not issued to him. When he checked for the candidate status, the downloaded information was to the effect that the payment was pending. Therefore, the present writ petition came to be filed. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that he should be permitted to sit for the written examination. But the same was strongly opposed by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 & 2. 5.
This Court is of the view that it is not possible to give relief at this last moment. The writ petitioner has to pay a fee of Rs.133.13/- through online. It appears that though the petitioner took steps in this regard, the transaction was not successful. In matters relating to online transactions, there are in-built mechanisms for verifying if the transaction has successfully concluded. In the present case, the online application was made on 21.01.2018. The writ petitioner had time enough to check if the amount was credited to the account of the first respondent Board. The writ petitioner was obviously slack. He did not even bother to check. Therefore, the petitioner was not issued with the hall ticket. The learned Additional Advocate General pointed out that e-governance is in place and that hall tickets are generated online.
This process got concluded already and that it would be too late in the day to accommodate the petitioner. He also furnished details to the effect that a similar writ petition was dismissed by the Principal Bench. 6.Therefore, taking note of all these aspects, this Court dismisses this writ petition also. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
