This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash FIR in Crime No.939 of 2023 pending on the file of the 1st Respondent Police as against the Petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the sole accused and the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are De facto complainant and the victim.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first Respondent submitted that the first Respondent had filed a status report identifying the De facto complainant and the accused.

4. Based on the status report filed by the first Respondent and the joint compromise memo recorded by the Petitioner and the De facto complainant, the FIR in Crime No.939 of 2023 pending on the file of the 2/4

first Respondent police viz., The Inspector of Police, Koodalpudhur Police Station, Madurai City is hereby quashed.
