O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.F.No.16/3B, Valayanendal Village, Emaneswaram Group, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. When he attempted to survey the property, the adjacent land owner restrained the same, thereby, he sent a representation to the respondent police seeking police protection through a representation, dated 08.01.2025, but the same has not been considered.

Hence this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner sent the representation through online and thereafter, he has not appeared before the second respondent with the relevant documents. If the petitioner appears before the respondent police with the relevant documents, the petitioner's representation will be considered and the same will be disposed of within a week.

4.Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition and the second respondent has also admitted the receipt of the petitioner's representation and the only grievance of the second respondent is that after filing online complaint petitioner not appeared for enquiry, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the second respondent on 22.02.2025 along with all the relevant documents and thereafter, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 08.01.2025, within a period of one week, from the date of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
