This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the respondents to grant police protection to life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. side) appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate submitted taht petition enquiry is pending.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is threat not only to the petitioner's life and limb but also to his family members.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent NO.2 to conclude the petition enquiry within a period of four weeks and the second respondent shall consider to give adequate protection to the petitioner as and when required.
