Respondent/Defacto complainant PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records pertaining to the F.I.R. In Crime No.12 of 2014, on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same as illegal with regard to the petitioners.
For Petitioners in both petitions :Mr.T.Lenin Kumar For Respondents in both petitions : Mr.S.Prabha Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for R.1 :Mr.D.Venkatesh for R.2 COMMON ORDER Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned Counsel for the second respondent.

The petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)NO.3604 of 2015 are arrayed as accused for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C. r/w 3 (2)(Va) & 3(1)(r)(s) of the SC/ST (POA) Amendment Ordinance Act, 2014 and Section 109 I.P.C. And the petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3675 of 2015 are arrayed as accused for the offences under Sections 294(b), 417, 420 and 506(ii) I.P.C. r/w 3(1)(r) and (s) SC/ST (POA) Amendment Ordinance, 2014.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, a joint memo of compromise has been filed by both parties in both cases and attested by the Counsel for both parties, in which it is stated that the parties have entered into a settlement out of Court and therefore, there is no necessity for proceeding further in this matter. The parties are also present.
5. This Court has also perused the nature of complaint and the joint memo of compromise filed in both cases. This Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served by proceedings further in these matters. 6.Accordingly, both the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed and the proceedings in Cr.Nos.409 and 12 of 2014, on the file of the first respondent are quashed.
