ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioners in respect of the properties comprised in Survey Nos.110/1B 110/2A 110/2C and 110/4 situate in Erasakkanaickanoor Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District.
2.Heard Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioners, they have filed an application for transfer of patta in their name. Pursuant to the same, the Tahsildar, Uthamapalayam initiated enquiry and thereafter, no action has been taken and no order has been passed so far. Hence, they have come up with the present writ petition. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to complete the enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
