O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to produce the petitioner's wife, namely, Hemavathy, aged about 24 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner would state that he is a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineer and he was originally working in abroad. He would further state that both the petitioner and the detenu fell in love with each other and the marriage was also performed on 10.02.2021 against the wishes of their parents. It is alleged that on 14.02.2021 she was taken away by her parents and hence, he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.339 of 2021 lodged a complaint with the respondents 1 & 2 to take appropriate action. Since no action was taken, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Ms.Agalya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that when the habeas corpus petition is pending, the detenue was secured and she has now joined with the petitioner.

4. In the light of the above statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the opinion that the prayer sought for in this habeas corpus petition has become infructious and hence, this petition is dismissed as infructious.
