3622 of 2015) PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and others while doing agricultural work in respect of the land in survey nos.224/2A1, 224/2A2, 225/4, 240/5, 241/3, 240/1, 241/5, 241/7, 212, 217, 218, 221, 286, 289, 290, 293, 294, 296, 299, 307, 311 to the extent of more than 90 acres situated at Kanavaipatti @ Ganeshapuram, Rajathani, Andipatti Circle, Theni District and to the life and limb of the petitioner on consideration of the above circumstances and on the basis of the representation dated 25.02.2015.

ORDER

This direction petition is filed to direct the first respondent police to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and others by considering the representation dated 25.02.2015.

2.The petitioner seeks police protection to his life and limb through a representation dated 25.02.2015. Now, 3 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
