Respondents PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the the respondents to give police protection for the petitioners life and limb on the basis of their representation dated 19/12/2019 and enabling them to enter into their plot No.55 in S.R.NO.231/12 and New No.231/24 in Neelagirithottam, Thanjavur District, without any interference from the third respondent.

O R D E R

This Petition has been filed to direct the the respondents to give police protection for the petitioners life and limb on the basis of their representation dated 19/12/2019 and enabling them to enter in to their plot No.55 in S.R.NO.231/12 and New No.231/24 in Neelagirithottam, Thanjavur District without any interference from the third respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent is attempting to grab the property belonging to the petitioner.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint of the petitioners was received by the respondent police on 20.12.2019 and enquiry has been initiated in CSR No.662 of 2019 and due enquiry will be conducted within a period of two weeks and appropriate action will be taken.
