ORDER : The Court made the following order :- 1/4

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.01.2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 of IPC r/w Section 3 & 5 of the Emblems and Name Act(Prevention of improper use) 1950, in Crime No. 2 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner cheated the defacto complainant, his father and sister using forged seal of the State Bank of India to the tune of Rs.16,50,000/-. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 19.01.2026. Hence, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner and other accused persons have used the RBI emblem and cheated the defacto complainant. Totally there are 10 accused. The petitioner is A10 and none of the accused was granted bail. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the above submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
