ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 379 IPC and Section 21(4) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.118 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused have illegally transported 1⁄4 unit of river sand by using TATA 407 Tipper Van. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner and other accused transported 1⁄4 unit of river sand illegally. He would further submit that the petitioner is having four previous cases for similar offence.
