564/2 is "Government Land" made in the petitioner's patta land bearing Survey No.564/1- Patta No.1709 with an extent of 4 acres, situated at Sirumalai Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, which was happened while on UDR scheme by considering his representation dated 19.12.2024 and consequently issue patta in his name. ORDER

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner seeks rectification of the wrong classification of his lands as government lands. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation on 19.12.2024. 2/5

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the first respondent would be the competent authority to pass orders on the petitioner's application for correction in the UDR records.

5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application, dated 19.12.2024 seeking correction of the errors that had crept in the UDR records. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
