ORDER

With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's applications for transfer of patta and survey and demarcation of the boundaries to the petitioner's land. The petitioner has made an applications in this regard on 06.01.2025. It is the further contention of the petitioner that, even his vendor has made a similar request for survey on 02.09.2021 but the authorities did not come forward to conduct any survey. Pursuant to the purchase of the subject lands by the petitioner in the year 2018 and 2022 he has made an online application on 06.01.2025 and also paid necessary charges for survey.

4. It is seen that the petitioner has made two applications on 06.01.2025. One for mutation of patta in his name based on the sale deed in favour of the petitioner and another one for conducting the survey. In respect of both the online applications, the petitioner has also remitted the necessary fees.

Considering the above, the writ petition is allowed directing the second respondent to conduct survey with the help of the third respondent based on the petitioner's application and the registered sale deed standing in the name of the petitioner. Subsequent to the survey being conducted, the second respondent shall also pass orders on the petitioner's application for mutation of patta. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
