ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 22.01.2018 and dispose of the same within a stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, he has purchased the property measuring to an extent of 2 acres and 28 cents from one Banumathy in the year 2016. Thereafter, patta was also issued in his favour. Now, the petitioner filed an application before the respondents to survey the property and also paid necessary fee on 22.01.2018. Since no action has been taken so far, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the petitioner only seeks to measure his land by fixing boundaries, the first respondent is directed to measure the property in question as per the revenue records, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties, if any.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
