O R D E R

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 and 2 to conduct enquiry based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.02.2025 and consequently, to direct the respondent no. 1 and 2 to take action against the respondents no.3 to 6 in accordance with law, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the private respondents no.3 to 6 demanded dowry and thereafter, they have harassed the petitioner. Thereby, she lodged a complaint dated 07.02.2025 and the same was received by the 2nd respondent, but no action was taken. Therefore, she filed this petition before this Court.

3. Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal) takes notice for the respondents no.1 and 2, and Mr.V.Sukumar, learned Page No. 2 of 4

counsel takes notice for the private respondents no.3 to 6.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that they have received the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2025. The complaint is against the family members due to family dispute and thereby, they have to conduct an elaborate enquiry. However, they will complete the enquiry within one week.

5. Considering the relationship between the parties and the nature of complaint, and the complaint is also pending for enquiry with the 2nd respondent, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2025 in accordance with law on merits within one week from the date of this order.

6. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
