PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1 to 2nd respondents to take appropriate action against the 4th and 5th respondents under the section 207 of Tamilnadu Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 based on the petitioner representation dated 03.02.2026, within the time stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the 4th and 5th respondents under the section 207 of Tamilnadu Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2026, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/5

3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 03.02.2026 for operating his mini bus in the permitted route and also for taking action against the private respondents. It is also alleged that the private respondents are operating their vehicles contrary to the orders passed by the respondents 1 and 2. However, since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, would submit that within a considerable period, the representation would be considered.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If it is found that the respondents 4 and 5 are operating contrary to the orders passed by the respondents 1 and 2, the respondents 1 and 2 shall 3/5

initiate action against the respondents 4 and 5, after due notice to the respondents 4 and 5, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 12.02.2026 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No RR To
