This writ petition has been filed challenging the Notification issued by the third respondent dated 23.01.2020 and to quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to invite fresh Notification, as per the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Teacher Cadre) Act 2019.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent University would submit that the University has not filled up the post as against the impugned notification issued by the third respondent dated 23.01.2020. Further, the University has initiated steps to cancel or withdraw the notification by getting approval from the forthcoming syndicate meeting as nearly three years have been lapsed after the publication of advertisement.

3. In view of the above, no further order is necessary in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
