This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnor/respondent for his willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P(MD)No.21676 of 2024, dated 12.09.2024. 1/3

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (ie., 26.02.2026), the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side ) appearing for the respondent would submit that in the meeting held on 31.07.2025, the petitioner's name was removed from the History Sheet list. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kanniyakumari Sub-Division, wherein it is stated that, since no criminal case is pending against the petitioner, they have decided to remove his name from the History Sheet.
