RESPONDENT/PLAINTIFF Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted by this Hon`ble Court by its order dated 10.02.2020 in C.M.P.(MD).No.1414 of 2020 in A.S.(MD).No.33 of 2020 for making the payment of Rs.15,00,000/- and pass such further or other as this Hon`ble Court.

ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.ANANDKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.G.RAJAN, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J) By order dated 10.02.2020, this Court, while granting an order of interim stay, directed the petitioner/defendant to pay a sum of Rs.15,00,000/-(Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) to the respondent on or before 19.02.2020 and also directed the petitioner to make further payment of Rs.35,00,000/-(Rupees Thirty Five Lakhs only) to the respondent within a period of three weeks thereafter. Now the petitioner has filed the above petition seeking for extension of time to comply with the first condition imposed by this Court ie., to pay Rs.15,00,000/-(Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) to the respondent on or before 19.02.2020 stating that he met with an accident on 10.02.2020 and was discharged on 13.02.2020.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the time may be extended till Tuesday ie., on 03.03.2020 for complying with the orders of this Court.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondnet has no objection for granting time till 03.03.2020 to the petitioner to comply with the first condition of the order.

4. Accordingly, the time granted on 10.02.2020 is extended till 03.03.2020 for making payment of Rs.15,00,000/-(Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) to the respondent and we make it clear that so far as the second respondent is concerned, the petitioner should make the payment of Rs.35,00,000/-(Rupees Thirty Five Lakhs only) within a period of three weeks from 03.03.2020. In other aspects, the order dated 10.02.2020 shall stand unaltered.

5.With the above direction, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
