ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Special Court for trial of cases under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Thoothukudi, to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in S.C.No.10 of 2024 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3. Without going into the merits of this case, the Special Court for trial of cases under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Thoothukudi, is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No.10 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
