Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 341, 354, 366, 506(I) IPC r/w Section 511 and 34 IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.37 of 2015, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent.

3. It is the case of the prosecution that this petitioner along with his friends tried to forcibly abduct the defacto complainant while she was going with her friends. The petitioner tried to pull her into the car and that was resisted by the defacto complainant and her friends, who tried to pull her out of the car. In the melee, public gathered. The petitioner and his friends escaped.

4. Taking into consideration the serious nature of the allegations against this petitioner, inasmuch as he has attempted to abduct a girl, this Court is of the view that this it is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and hence, the petition seeking anticipatory bail is dismissed.
