ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam to dispose of CC.No.340 of 2015.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that a petition in Crl.O.P(MD).No.6482 of 2016 was filed before this Court by the accused to quash the proceedings in CC.No.340 of 2015 and an order of interim stay was granted by this Court.

Therefore, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam was not able to proceed further in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3381 of 2021 CC.No.340 of 2015, subsequently this Court, hearing both sides, dismissed Crl.O.P(MD).No.6482 of 2016 on 07.01.2020. His further contention is that now the matter is adjourned to 08.03.2021 for examination of witnesses.

3.Recording the submission, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam to dispose of the case in CC.No.340 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible.
