ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to survey, subdivide and demarcate the four boundaries of the petitioner's land in S.No.781/2B, Sevugampatti Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, originally, the property measuring 23 cents in S.No.781/2, Sevugampatti Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District belongs to the petitioner's father Muniyandi. Thereafter, the petitioner, his mother and brother are in possession and enjoyment of the property. In the above circumstances, the petitioner filed an application before the second respondent to transfer the patta in their name and also survey the property in the year 2014 and the petitioner has also paid necessary fee for the same. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the fact that the application is pending from 2014, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.02.2014 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
