PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents especially by the sixth respondent committee to pass final orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 08.12.2016 along with original annexures, in the light of the order passed by this Court in "The Director Pension, DMS Complex, Chennai Vs. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The petitioner has lodged a claim for re-imbursement for the medical expenditure incurred by her, which was rejected by the seventh respondent. Questioning the same, the appeal has been filed before the sixth respondent/Committee. The same is said to be pending before the sixth respondent. If it is pending before the third respondent or any other authority, the same shall be referred to the sixth respondent forthwith.
4.The sixth respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
