: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to initiate appropriate action against respondents 6 to 14 and further direct the respondents 1, 4 and 5 to take departmental action in the matter, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 28.02.2018.

O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] This Public Interest Litigation has been filed by the
petitioner seeking a direction to respondents 2 and 3 to take appropriate action against the respondents 6 to 14, based on the representation made by him, on 28.02.2018.
2. In the aforesaid representation, the petitioner has alleged that the respondents 6 to 14, in connivance with each other, are indulging in the theft of rubber trees under the pretext of removing the old fallen trees.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3, especially the submission that the respondents 2 and 3 may not have jurisdiction to go into this complaint made at this stage and the appropriate authority to look into the representation of the petitioner is the fourth respondent herein, the Writ Petition shall stand disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
