ORDER

The petitioners challenge the very registration of the impugned FIR against them under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003. 2.The petitioner's counsel placed quite a few materials before this Court. He also placed reliance on the order dated 05.03.2019 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.648 of 2019. 3.Even though the contentions of the petitioner's counsel are quite attractive, I am afraid that at the stage of investigation, this Court may not be called upon to examine the same. It is always open to the petitioners to come to this Court again, if any adverse charge is filed against them. Therefore, leaving open the petitioner's contentions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. It is directed that the first respondent will file a final report one way or other within a period of 30 days. The jurisdictional Court will take a call in the matter within a period of two weeks thereafter.
