ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner to 1/4

direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and interfere with the administration of the Institution.

2. According to the petitioner, he has been running an Institution namely Tamil Nadu Women College, Aruppukottai and he is the Chairman as well as the Principal of the above said College. The said College is affiliated with NEHM & SSP, Capital University, Sikkim, Alagappa University and NCVRT, and the above said Institution has been running from 2005 for more than 15 years without any adverse remarks. While so, one of the Staff has created false propaganda by inducing the students and created problems. Now, the respondent police no.2 and 3 and their subordinates not even permit the petitioner to move from the College and he has been detained in house arrest. Therefore, he filed this petition.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has been running a College without proper permission from the concerned authorities and therefore, the students have conducted agitation in the College, thereby a complaint was received from Village Administrative Officer. Based on that complaint, F.I.R has been registered on 15.02.2025 in Crime No.87 of 2025. Thereafter, based on the complaint only, they have registered the F.I.R and 2/4

no any harassment by the respondents as alleged in the petition. Therefore, the present petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. Since the F.I.R has been registered as against the petitioner based on the complaint given by the Village Administrative Officer, it is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law. In view of the same, the petitioner cannot seek any remedy before this Court and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
