Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue the detailed FMB sketch with survey numbers, adangal and the names of the owners as found prior to UDR documents for the lands bearing block nos.3,4,5,6,11,12 present Madurai Corporation Survey Ward No.18 Managiri I Bit village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai Corporation based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2024.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks the basic revenue records relating to the petition mentioned lands. In the writ prayer, the petitioner has mentioned the block numbers as well as the present survey numbers of Managiri Village in Madurai. The Corporation authorities are unable to furnish the petitioner with the relevant documents. The petitioner may therefore knock the doors of the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to enquire into the petitioner's request made vide representation dated 24.01.2024. Proper response shall be given to the petitioner by the respondents 1 and 2 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
