ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a) and 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 in Crime No.183 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused were found in illegal possession of 32 numbers of Honey Day Brandy (each containing 180ml) bottles. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and a false complaint has been given. Hence, he seeks for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that petitioner along with the other accused were found in illegal possession of 32 numbers of Honey Day Brandy (each containing 180ml) bottles and he has got eight previous cases of similar in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail.

5.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6.Taking into consideration the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
