ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the properties in old S.No.446, New.S.No 677/4 to an extant of 234.113 and 40.136 square meter & 678/2 to an extant of 119.820 square meter, based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2017. 2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in old S.No.446, New S.No 677/4 to an extant of 234.113 and 40.136 square meter & 678/2 to an extant of 119.820 square meter, situated at Panayur Village, Sankarankovil Taluk. Earlier, he has filed an application before the respondent for issuance of separate patta in his name and it is pending for long time without passing any orders. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 3.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending from the year 2017, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2017 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as any of the rival claimants.
