PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2017 in the light of the order dated 24.07.2013 passed in W.P.(MD).No.11802 of 2013 batch within a time frame.

Heard Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The petitioner is a retired Government school teacher. His grievance is that the incentive increments for acquiring higher qualification were not conferred on him.

of 2013. He has given a representation dated 17.05.2017 in this regard.

5.The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2017, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
