ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to give a adequate Police Protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2020. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is residing in the house of the third respondent by way of lease agreement (Othi) from the year 2011. The sister of the third respondent one Karpagam threatened the petitioner to vacate the house without giving the lease amount. While so, the petitioner has file a suit in O.S.No.162 of 2019 before the District Munsif, Tiruchendur seeking a relief sought for the third respondent and his henchman not to disturb the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the suit property except under due process of law. During pendency of the suit, on 06.02.2020, the third respondent and his henchman trespassed into the petitioner's house by using filthy language with criminal intimidation. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3555 of 2020 the present petition has been filed seeking for police protection. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.36 of 2020 has been registered for the offences under Sections 147, 447, 294(b), 323, 379 and 506(ii) of IPC. He would further submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, due enquiry will be conducted and appropriate action will be taken.
