[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's father Murugan, aged about 56 years before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.The petitioner would state that the detenu Murugan is found missing from 05.08.2015. It is further stated that he along with his relatives made so many efforts to find out his father, but all ended in vain. Hence, he made a complaint before the second and third respondents on 03.04.2019, but no action was taken by the respondents. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.Heard Mr.K.Manikandan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would state that the second respondent received the complaint sent by the registered post on 13.10.2020, but the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.341 of 2021 petitioner did not come for enquiry and after filing of this habeas corpus petition, the petitioner appeared before the third respondent and gave a complaint on 06.03.2021 and the same was registered in Crime No.134/2021 under 'man missing' and the third respondent is investigating the case.

4.In the light of the above facts, this habeas corpus petition is closed. However, the third respondent is hereby directed to speed up the investigation in Crime No.134/2021. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (Records) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) Note :
