ORDER

With the consent of the counsel for the petitioner and the official respondents represented by the learned Additional Government Pleader Mrs.M.Malathi, the writ petition is taken for final disposal. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that despite making an application for survey of the petitioner's land way back on 26.12.2023 (wrongly typed as 2024 in the affidavit and the writ petition) no steps have been taken to survey the petitioner's land.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that it would not suffice to merely remit the requisite fee, but the petitioner has to follow up such payment with the requisition letter to the Tashildar concern and only thereupon, the authorities will be in a position to conduct survey. 2/5

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a request to the respondents for conducting survey enclosing copy of the challan dated 26.12.2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such requisition being made by the petitioner as indicated above, the respondents 2 and 3 shall proceed to conduct a survey and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 26.12.2020 within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed. No costs. Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No 24.02.2025 am 3/5
