ORDER

The petitioner, who is working as Special Sub Inspector of Police in Armed Reserve, Virudhunagar District, has been transferred to Tirunelveli District. Challenging the said transfer order, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.

2.The other affected persons that of the petitioner, have filed writ petitions before this Court in WP.(MD)Nos.34499, 34500, 34501 & 34502 of 2025 and this Court by its order dated 28.11.2025 set aside the order of transfer. The benefit which has been given to petitioners therein, shall also be extended to the petitioner herein also. Therefore, the order impugned in this writ petition, dated 17.10.2025 is hereby set aside and this writ petition is allowed with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the earlier order passed by this Court dated 28.11.2025, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 27.02.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No 2/4
