O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking permission and adequate police protection for conducting the "Kabadi Tournament" from 13.01.2018 at 4.00 p.m to 14.01.2018 at 11.00 p.m, to be held in Vennivelampatti village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, in the event of the 'Thai Pongal' Celebration, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2018. 2.Heard Mr.J.Senthilkumaraiah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is one of the Villagers of the Vennivelampatti Village. The villagers are conducting the Kabadi Tournament in every year and this year, they have decided to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

conduct the Kabadi Tournament on 13.01.2018 and 14.01.2018. Hence, he seeks permission and the police protection for the same. 4.Considering the said submissions, the respondent/T.Kallupatti Police Station, T.Kallupatti, Madurai District is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on or before 12.01.2018.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
