ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN,J.) By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.This Writ Petition is styled as a 'Public Interest Litigation' and the petitioner alleges that the fourth and fifth respondents are illegally running a toddy shop at Kalyanaramapuram, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District and though it has been brought to the knowledge of the official respondents, no action, whatsoever, has been taken and therefore, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by filing this Writ Petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who would submit that yesterday ie., on 12.03.2018, toddy shop illegally run by the respondents 4 and 5 is ordered to be shut down and no further action is taken against them. 4.Mr.C.M.Marichellaih Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and seeks time to get instructions.

5.This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.02.2015, after putting the respondents 4 and 5, on notice, shall take further action on the said representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 4 and 5. 6.The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
