O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to grant permission for conducting Jallikkattu at Pattamangalam Village East Group-84, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard, Mr.P.Saravanakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmuga Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that in the last year, without obtaining proper permission from the respondents, Jallikkattu was conducted, in which, the petitioner's property was severely damaged. the deities coming to the petitioner's temple also getting very much scared because of the said tampering of bulls. He further submitted that already a case was registered in Crime No.53 of 2017 for the offence punishable under Sections 143 and 188 of IPC and thereafter, he requests to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to grant permission for conducting Jallikkattu. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the 4th respondent has submitted a report to the first respondent stating that the Pattamangalam Village is not suitable place for conducting Jallikkattu function and hence, the said report is under consideration of the first respondent.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation on the line of the report submitted by the 4th respondent and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

6.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
