ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam, Thoothukudi District to dispose of the case in Crl.M.P.No.350 of 2020 on its file within a time frame as specified by this Court forthwith.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

4. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam, Thoothukudi District to dispose the case pending in Crl.M.P.No.350 of 2020 within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the Trial Court on all hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
