For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in crime No.19 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Clause 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order r/w. Secction 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, in Crime No.19 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) while admitting that the petitioner is not having any previous case would point out that quantity involved in this case is very huge. It is stated that the petitioner was recipient of the 6000 kgs of PDS rice.

4. Taking note of the enormity of the allegation, I am not inclined to grant relief. This criminal original petition stands dismissed.
