This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give permission and protection for Panguni Pongal and Poochoridhal (Flower Showering) festival to the temple and conduct Manjuvirattu (Jallikkattu) on 20.03.2018 (Tuesday) in Konnaipatti Konnaikanmai, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District, in our village based on petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2018. 2.Heard, Mr.R.Sivalingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmuga Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the villagers are conducting Panguni Pongal and Poochoridhal (Flower Showering) festival to the temple and conduct Manjuvirattu (Jallikkattu) on 20.03.2018 (Tuesday)in connection with the Konnaipatti Konnaikanmai, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District, and for that, they have already given a representation dated 05.03.2018 to the respondent, but, sofar, no order has been passed. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that there is a law and order problem and hence, the petitioner's representation is kept pending. 5.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 05.03.2018 and dispose of the same at early. 6.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
