Respondents P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 & 3 to survey and demarcate the petitioner's property comprised in S.No.88/4 and 87/1 situated at Kundoor Village, Thiruverambur Taluk, Thiruchirappalli District on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 30.12.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that his application for survey and demarcation of his property has been pending with the respondents from December 2024. Despite a reminder on 30.12.2024 as well no steps have been taken to conduct the survey as requested by the petitioner.

4. The Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is only an auction purchaser and he seeks survey and there would be no difficulty for the survey being conducted as no third party interests are involved. 2/4

5. Considering the above, the writ petition is allowed and respondents 2 & 3 shall conduct the survey based on the petitioner's application, dated 30.12.2024 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
