PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to direct the 2nd respondent to file final report in Crime No.26 of 2014 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondents to investigate and file final report in Crime No.26 of 2014 within the time stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side).

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court considers it appropriate to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.26 of 2014, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today. Taking note of the submission that one of the accused is a Police Personnel, there shall be a direction to the Additional Superintendent of Police, Pudukotti District to monitor the investigation. The petitioner is required to co-operate with the investigation in this case.

4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
