Mr.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner is the owner of LMV Share Autorickshaw. He wants grant of 5+1 Share Authorikshaw permit. In this regard, the petitioner approached the respondent. The respondent declined to receive his application. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed.

4.This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. It is open to the respondent to pass orders one way or the other. The only relief that is given in this writ petition is for reception of the petitioner's application and for direction to the respondent to pass orders thereon. Therefore, the respondent is directed to receive the petitioner's application and pass orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
