PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate steps to hand over the registered document No.1388/2002 kept pending with the 6th respondent after the payment of deficit registration stamp fees to the petitioner on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate steps to hand over the registered document No.1388/2002 kept pending with the 6th respondent after the payment of deficit registration stamp fees to the petitioner on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents 1 to 4 on 18.07.2025 for return of the registered document. However, he would submit that since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that on considering the representation of the petitioner, necessary orders would be passed by the 6th respondent.

5. Considering the said submission made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 6th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
