ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records placed before this Court.

3. According to the petitioners, the brother of the petitioners left the house long back and they are unable to find out his whereabouts for the past 20 years. While being so, the second respondent very often came to the petitioners' house, searched there and also brought the petitioners to the third respondent police and detained and threatened them to lodge a false case against them. 2/4

Therefore, the petitioners sent a representation dated 13.02.2025. Since the same has not been considered, this petition came to be filed.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioners' brother involved in a murder case and he was absconding. Only in order to secure him, the respondent police searched the petitioners' house. He would further submit that yesterday, ie., 17.02.2025, the respondent police secured the said accused and only for the investigation purpose, the respondent police conducted search in the petitioners' house and they have not harassed the petitioners as alleged by them.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police, this criminal original petition is closed. 18.02.2025 Index :
