ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.05.2017 for assignment of patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of 0.85 cents in Government land in S.F.No.198/1 in Devachinnapatti Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Palani Division Dindigul District.

2.According to the petitioner, he has filed an application dated 11.05.2017 before the first respondent seeking for assignment of patta in respect of property measuring to an extent of 0.85 cents in Government land in S.F.No.198/1 in Devachinnapatti Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Palani Division Dindigul District. After receipt of the said application, the first respondent has also directed the third respondent to conduct an enquiry but no order has been passed thereafter. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3.Considering the fact that the application is pending from 2017, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 11.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
